China Mobile and its subsidiaries intent to promote socially responsible procurement and make reasonable efforts to avoid the procurement or usage of materials which are unlawful or which are obtained through unethical or otherwise unacceptable means.

We recognize that the issue of conflict minerals originating in the Democratic Republic of the Congo or an adjoining country is one of the significant social issues among supply chains. We aim at procurement and usage that are free from conflict minerals originating in the Democratic Republic of the Congo or an adjoining country and relating to illegal conducts.

To achieve such targets, we conduct inquiries tracing back through our supply chains to confirm if conflict minerals are used. Based on mutually beneficial relationships, we ask our suppliers to understand our policies and to promote socially responsible procurement. We will eliminate as soon as commercially practical the procurement of materials containing Conflict Minerals originating in the Democratic Republic of the Congo or an adjoining country and supporting any illegal conducts. We will submit to audits as deemed necessary.

In addition, China Mobile will continue to comply with all applicable local laws in the various countries in which we do business.
